In First Grade, our partial immersion bilingual programme takes a brilliant step forward. While we keep things dynamic and fun, our students are now diving deeper into the English language through core subjects such as Mathematics and Science – a transition that has involved a meaningful adaptation process for both teachers and students.
“Teachers have made a significant effort to create supportive materials, rely on body language, and use visual and contextual strategies to ensure learning remains accessible for all”, explained Francisca Miranda, Head of English for Early Years. “Students have gradually gained confidence, becoming more comfortable using English in their daily routines and classroom interactions”, she added.
This shared journey reflects a growing sense of confidence, engagement, and commitment to the bilingual process from everyone involved. We are very excited to see what comes next!
