Spelling Bee stars!

Last week, we participated in the ESU Spelling Bee competition for the first time, alongside schools such as Verbo Divino, Villa María Academy, Instituto Hebreo, Lincoln International Academy, and Santiago College. This contest is a valuable experience that helps students improve their English vocabulary, pronunciation, and spelling skills in a fun and challenging way. It also builds confidence, encourages healthy competition, and motivates students to keep learning and growing.

We congratulate the many students who showed interest in taking part, and especially those who represented us with great enthusiasm and commitment: Emilia García (3rd D), Juan Ignacio Elías (4th A), Raimundo Valenzuela (5th A), Luz García-Huidobro (6th C), and Magdalena Labbé (7th D). We are especially proud of Juan Ignacio, who won 1st place, and Raimundo, who won 2nd place. “All our students had an outstanding participation, and we celebrate their effort and dedication. This achievement reaffirms our commitment to teaching English in an active, challenging, and globally connected way”, said Paola González, Head of the English Department for the Second Cycle.
